Appearances
The
Vienna Waltz Ensemble is privileged to have presented American
premieres at Chicago's renowned Symphony Center, home of the
Chicago Symphony Orchestra. They have delighted audiences for
the Sunday Salon Series at the historic Chicago Cultural Center
and in a variety of successful concert series, such as the Jewel
Box, broadcast internationally on WFMT-FM radio. Their music can
be heard on over 40 radio stations in the USA and Canada.
Through concerts, master classes, and "informances", the Vienna
Waltz Ensemble shares insights and discoveries obtained through
ongoing research and international exchange with Viennese
colleagues. Whether in a concert hall, social club, or a library
setting, spellbound audiences of all ages respond
enthusiastically to the lively polkas, melting waltzes, and
spicy commentary, and if they didn't know already, listeners
come away convinced of the historical significance of these
miniature masterpieces of Viennese music.
"Breathtaking and absolutely outstanding...It was a great
opportunity for family and friends to be exposed to such
spine-tingling, atmospheric music. Your selection of music and
your rapport with the audience can only be described as
magnificent"
- a thrilled concert coordinator
