Clara Lindner
Violinist Clara Lindner has appeared with the Chicago Symphony
Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the St. Paul Chamber
Orchestra, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, at Carnegie Hall, and at
the Grand Teton and Aspen Music Festivals. She appears regularly
with the Ravinia Festival Orchestra, the Chicago Philharmonic,
and plays first chair with Chicago Opera Theater, the World
Festival Orchestra, and the Joffrey and Bolshoi Ballets. Ms.
Lindner has played for numerous commercial recordings and has
participated in Emmy and Grammy award-winning performances with
artists such as Celine Dion. She maintains a lively private
teaching studio and has been on faculty at the University of
Minnesota and Columbia College (Chicago). Ms Lindner trained at
the University of Southern California and Northwestern

Carl Johnston
Violinist Carl Johnston is a veteran Chicago performer and
educator, having taught privately for the past 30 years at
DePaul University, American Conservatory of Music, VanderCook
College of Music, and currently his home studio. His performance
experiences range from Concertmaster of the Mozart Sinfonia,
Associate Concertmaster of the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, member
of the Nashville Chamber Orchestra and the Chicago Sinfonietta
to performing in the Grant Park Symphony, Chicago Symphony,
Milwaukee Symphony, and Ravinia Festival Orchestras. Mr.
Johnston received his BM and MM from the Chicago Musical College

Greg
Sarchet
Double bassist Greg Sarchet has had an array of musical
experiences and training, from studying with his first teacher,
jazz luminary Rufus Reid, to receiving his degrees from the
Juilliard School, to hundreds of television/radio commercial
recordings. His ongoing international exchange efforts have been
recognized with two Chicago Artists International Program
awards, which sent him to the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria ,
Hungary, and Great Britain for performances, masterclasses, and
archival research for the Vienna Waltz Ensemble. He is a member
of the Lyric Opera of Chicago and for over 10 years has served
on the faculties of Northwestern University, Northeastern
Illinois University, and Northern Illinois University.
